Linda's Story

Linda is a certified 200-hour yoga teacher with additional certifications in Yin, Chair, Mindful Yoga Therapy, Qigong Infused Yoga and Oncology Yoga. Her teachers include Anne Falkowski, Sagel Urlacher, Suzanne Manafort, Karen O’Donnell Clarke, Lynne Smith, and Tari Prinster. She is a Usui Reiki Master Teacher and a certified End-of-Life Doula.

Linda began teaching yoga in 2017 and has taught consistently since then at the YMCA and retirement communities. She is currently teaching at The Hive Women’s Empowerment Center, where she is among a community of women who enjoy being together, while practicing self care.

Linda began her personal practice as a student over twenty years ago. She practiced in studios, community and fitness centers with a wide variety of teachers. As she became a “yogini” her body became stronger, her mind calmer and she noticed she was grounded and more at ease in her life. One of her teachers encouraged her to enroll in yoga teacher training...that decision was life-changing!

In 2020, Linda retired after many years as a dental hygienist and now dedicates her time to learning how to help others. She is an avid reader and continues her education through workshops and trainings, which she incorporates into her classes, allowing her students to benefit from the healing modalities of yoga, reiki, and qigong.

When not practicing yoga, Linda enjoys traveling and being in nature. She has traveled to Australia and New Zealand where her youngest daughter resides and takes every opportunity to be outside soaking up the sun, moon and stars.
